Just got back… I did not log in to give our final day report!
Left Austin after a day. No time to see anything!!! Its a shame really. Hung out with the family at Joe and Sylvia’s house. All the brothers and sister where there. Great time!
We left Austin and headed up to Dinosaur Valley State Park near Dallas. We took all 2 lane roads and saw some amazing country! Wow… What a view!
The area has been suffering a bit of a drought… Bad for them… Good for us when hunting for dinosaur footprints in a shallow creek-bed! We found tons. It was a blast. Check out all the pictures on the picasa page.
Drove a few hours to Gainesville Texas to stop for dinner… See below:

I will not say we are religious about stopping off the beaten path when travelling… But we do try to hit the local joints when out of our area. This time, we drove right into the city square and found a place called “Seafoodville”… And it was surrounded by cars… More exactly. Trucks!
It was not the most appealing looking place… But they were dishing out some serious fresh crawfish. Every table looked like a massacre! I ordered a pound, not really knowing how much was enough… (2 next time)… And we all proceeded to eat like the locals! GREAT STUFF!!!
Drove just short of Tulsa and spent the night on or near a reservation. And then made it home at about 6PM. No stops but a Quiznos in the middle of Missouri.
Man am I tired! I have a bunch more stuff to post about. Like the car that the dealership let me take… And another great restaurant we ate at in Arkansas. And a not so great one in Galveston. (I am not a foodie, but I always like to point out great surprises in unexpected places)
