Its all good news now… Linda came home with Ang today. They were both resting at our house when we got home tonight. The kids went crazy! They were sooooo excited to see Grandma and Mommy!
Hopefully after a couple of days of rest, Linda will be back at it!
In other news… I am still up in arms about this blog! On one hand, I like the fact that using Word-press gives it some structure and organization… On the other hand, its Slllllllooooooooowwwww for me to post to it. I know what slow is, since I dont have broadband, and this is really slow to bring up. (I think I need a paper bag to start breathing into… Broadband will be here one day… Broadband will be here one day… Broadband will be here one day… I just dont know how long I will have to wait for it to arrive!
So, if you have any feedback, let me know. That is the joy of this as well… People can leave comments on any post. I’m sure spammers are lined up to fill my posts with junk!
Also, the rest of the website is just waiting to be uploaded…. I dont know why, but I cannot “ftp” from the computer that is holding all of Planetstahl.com. I am looking to move the files and try it from another PC. Oh, its a work computer if you have not figured that out! I could never attempt this task at home. It would take weeks to upload from here!
That reminds me… I will have to start blasting Gallatinriver mercilessly from now on. They are my tel-co. They send me tons of mail about broadband, and how I could save money by switching… I call them and they always say “Did you get that mail? Hmmmm… You should be off our lists since we cant reach you.” Golly, thanks for dashing my hopes again! Ang called a few months back, and a senior rep at Gallatin said that I should get a list of my neighbors who are interested in DSL. Because I have this kind of time??? Maybe I could sell “Grit” while I am at it to make a little income on the side?
One other thing I wanted to start blasting… My BRAND NEW CUB CADET ZERO TURN MOWER that blows up every week! If I had the vitriol saved for just one post, it would be about that. But for the moment, I sit here hoping that Central Illinois Ag in Tremont gets their crap together and fixes it right. Whether they do or not, you will hear the whole saga soon!
Ahhhhhh…. Its good to be back!
