High winds, clear skies and beaches add up to one thing… Sunburns! Man… Summer, Aiden and I have them! Ang managed to say clear with her floppy hat!
We played in the pool and on the beach today… Drove to San Antonio after lunch. Just in time to walk the River Walk and view the Alamo. We will go back tomorrow to check out the stores and the Alamo for a little bit longer.
Then, we head to Austin to see the family reunited for Dad’s 50th birthday party at Uncle Joe and Aunt Sylvia’s.
I was bummed to see Hot Club of Cowtown is out of town!
Tonight, I am thanking William “The Negotiator” Shatner and Priceline for getting us a pretty sweet deal on a hotel near river walk. $50.00 was my bid for a nice Holiday Inn room. Better than anyplace else we have stayed… And they have all been much more expensive!
