Batman Begins!
Holy Fa-Nizzel Batman! To say that I may have had high expectations this movie would be an understatement! I almost did not see it in the theater. Thanks to Dan for dousing my disenchantment with this movie franchise.
The movie is true to the comics in almost everyway. The “Cheese” that started creeping in on the last few movies was gone. Also missing was the gigantic ego’ed stars that overshadowed the plot. Thank goodness! As a batman fan, I am very happy with this movie. I think Spiderman opened up the door for “true” telling of the classic storylines. 5 stars from my chair!
Now, the only lingering question that begs to be asked… Did Etter hit the tanning booth with a bat signal taped on his chest?
Fathers Day. We were on the run most of it… 3rd Sunday market in Bloomington, Lunch in Pontiac with Grandpa Jim and then back to Green Valley.
Cool gift of the day, “The Cary Grant Collection” on DVD from Ang. “Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream Home” is a classic.
Don plays tomorrow in Springfield. I cant wait! I am going to try and record on my MP3 player. We shall see!
