We landed just north of Houston last night… And ended up on Galveston today.
On the way out… We took a ferry over to the USS Texas. Its the really WW2 ship anchored in Houston. Pretty sweet. They let you crawl all over that thing, even let Aiden fall down 8 steps! He’s OK… But it scared him. Summer was sure the boat was haunted!
Next up.. Galveston. Checked out Stewart Beach. It was pretty barren. Since the weather never got above 65 today, that might be a good reason. Summer and I went out to the sand bar and played with hermit crabs.
Surprisingly caught some sun from today! We will hit the beach in the morning…. We are staying right on it tonight… Then hit the road for the 4 hour ride to San Antonio tomorrow night.
Do you think they will show us the basement of the Alamo?
