We had done the big switch over to Verizon a few months ago for our home internet access… Its been great… But, this month I am getting ready to hit the wall on my usage.

The contract gives you 5 gig a month of usage at the 59.95 price.  I normally hit just over 4 gigs for the month… But this month… I am at almost 4 gig with 13 days to go!!! 

If I go over the 5 gig… Its a .25 per meg charge!!!  Yikes!  That wold be like paying 187.00 to watch a typical Netflix movie!!! 

Wish me luck… But dont send it by email!

Well, Roddy didn’t lie about one thing…  Taxes will be going up after he is impeached…

I think this is brilliant economic strategy…  Make it even more undesirable to work and do commerce in our state.  Pekin just did the same thing with a food and beverage tax that makes us higher than Peoria!  Maybe Rusty Dunn is gunning for the Governors seat?

I WISH they would show us where meaningful cuts could be made and then ask on a ballot what we should cut…  Kinda like Peoria is doing with the “Build a Block” tax.  At least the residents of Peoria will have no one to blame but themselves when they raise taxes…   Or, at least the city will know where the citizens stand when it fails!

I say KILL the block… Make it a park…  With lots of grass.  Something lacking from downtown Peoria!

Why does everyone slap up pictures of their kids and their pets for their profile picture… And to go one step further… Why do those same people normally no have ANY pictures of themselves within the 100 pictures they have posted to their profile?

I am not a supermodel… But I at least let people know what I look like… And if I were to run into them in Bloomington or something… I would know who they are…

Then again… We are back to that whole problem I had with reunions and classmates in general. If I don’t know what you look like, and we have not talked since HS… Is there a point going much further? Other than some shared memories of hating the same teachers and sharing the same geography… What do we have in common?

I guess we have those memories to serve as an icebreaker during awkward conversation!

Did I mention my reunion is coming up in May? 20 years!

Anyone else had the same idea?  Well, 8 bucks and a couple of nights getting the same beating from Ang assure me that these do NOT work!

I cant make heads or tails from this.  Our heating and cooling guy tells me that it shows our house as not having any insulation…  Big shock huh?
