Ummm, that last post was a joke! So, dont worry… I’ll be voting!
I did my first video for Fort’s since my fall earlier this year… Dont ask me why… But I was having some mental block for some reason. You can check it out at www.toyota-pekin.com. Use the service and sales blog button. Or just go here: http://toyota-pekin.blogspot.com/
Added a few pics from going to Fairbury to have lunch with Pete and Marie. It was a great time! I was really happy to see Grandpa so excited to see the kids.
Earlier that day, Summer had won her soccer championship… Aiden’s team got second. But he got a cool trohy from his coach that made him very happy!
Linda called tonight to say that Lynn’s surgery went OK.. But that she will likely need some radiation to remove a growth wrapped around a nerve. The Biopsey is not done yet… But I will post that info when its know.
More medical stuff! Ronyn is back home! Megan sent an email to keep us post. Everything went fine… AND THAT IS WONDERFUL NEWS! Poor little kid!
Halloween tomorrow… I will have some excited kids tomorrow night! This is bigger than Christmas for Aiden!
Megan and Tom sent out an email about Ronyn going to a surgery in Chicago… Pretty scary stuff… Here is the email from Megan:
Just sending a note to let you all know that Ronyn is having surgery Monday October 27th at the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. I do not have any other details as far as the surgery time – won’t know until Friday when they get it scheduled. But we will be there until Thursday, if not Friday, for recovery.
For those of you that do not know, Ro had a scope done yesterday and the Ear, Nose, Throat doctor saw that she has a cleft larynx. This is a very rare diagnosis but we are lucky that it was found. We’re thinking that that is what was causing her constant cough so hopefully it will make that go away.
We still do not have a closing date on our house but we have to move our belongings into storage in Indianapolis this weekend. We are planning to do that Saturday and then come back to Lincoln before going to Chicago on Sunday.
Please keep Ronyn in your thoughts and prayers :) We’ll let you know how’s she doing as soon as we can.
Oh, for those that dont know… Tom is packing up the family to move to Indianapolis. He has been itching to do that for about 5 years now!

Linda has been giving us some info about Lynn having some health problems. For those who do not remember Lynn… She was Ang’s Maid of Honor at our wedding. (15 years ago… Who doesn’t remember that?)
Below is an email that Shirley sent last night. Pretty scary! Keep Lynn in your thoughts.
Wanted to let you know that Lynn has been sick for about 5 weeks. The doctors were treating her for shingles in her mouth then she developed double vision. She has been to three specialist, had a MRI Monday and was told Tuesday that she had a brain tumor. Our world fell apart. We went to Iowa City Friday and received a little better news. She does not have a brain tumor but a growth on her 5th and 6th nerve behind her left eye at the base of the brain. She will have a PET scan on Tuesday to determine the kind of growth and the treatment. If the scan doesn’t tell them what they want to know then they will do a biopsy which will be full surgery. The growth may be of three kinds, two of which are benign and the other one cancerous. They are thinking spot radiation as a possible treatment. After the scan Tuesday we won’t know anything for several days as the team of neurologist will confer on treatment. She still has a long road ahead of her for recovery. Just wanted to let you know our situation and ask for prayer for her safe recovery. Thanks. Ray and Shirley
Went to the park on Columbus Day… It was packed by the lodge… But the further out we went… The less people we came in contact with. Wonderful weather and changing foliage made it a pretty day!
